New years!!!

Its new years everyone. What was your favourite memory that has happend in 2012. For me, i live in London so many really big things have happend this year. Like the Queens Dimand Jubelie and the olympics and paralympics. I don't think that i can remember anything that has happend to me that is amazing. The only thing i know is that i started this and, on new years day this will have been a full month of my very own blog. I have to say that mostly all of the things that i have tried to start, i have never finished. Eather because it was too hard or i just couldn't be asked. I do have to say that i am a very lazy person, but i am going to try to keep this. Its a thing for me and only me. My thourghts go on it and my ideas. I love it.
Anyway have a very happy new year and i wish you all the best for 2013 everyone :)

Im back!

Hey guys, sorry i havn't posted in a while. You know what the christmas holidays are like, spending time with family and going on days out. I am currently at my holiday house for the new years celebration. Having a holiday house near the beach is a good thing, however not when you are living in England and your here in the middle of winter, and when you wake up, you find yourself in a bed in the freezing cold because your dad turned off the heating :(
My holiday so fare has been fun. I've seen my family, we have exchange presents and had our big roast christmas dinner. The hole time put a big smile on all of our faces :D
And i hope your holiday has done the same thing for you. Hopefully i will be back tomorro for a new years updated. Have a merry christmas and a happy new year :)

Christmas presents

These are some of the things that i have got for christmas and some of the thinks that i got in the Boxing day sale with Christmas money that i was given. Hope you like it :)
Jack Wills makeup case. This has a really pritty floral print on the front and then their signiture stripes on the inside. I find this very usefull because the inside it lined with a plastic so the contence will not spill on the fabric and it is a good size to hold your asensials. This was a christmas so i don't know how much it was.

Sure Womans 'Long lasting protection' deoderent in Aloe Vera from Boots. I love the smell of Aloe Vera (i have a few cosmects of this sent) and in Boots, the medium sided bottle was only £1 so that is realy good. Also Sure is a trusted name with deoderents so its good for me. It works with sensetive skin (which i have) and has a 48 hour protection. I got this today just to stock up.

Red body fragrance 'Revlon' from superdrug and was only £1. My friend had this and she spraid it on me and i just fell inlove with the smell. That day i went straight to superdrug to get it. However to my disapointment they only had the tester one that didnt even have a lid to it. So i had to wait :'( But now i have it.

MUA sheer finish Lipgloss (it doesn't say the shade) in a nued pinkish colour. MUA is a cheep/afordable makeup line. I have tryed almost all of their products because im not a person who has the most money to spend on designer makeup. But i think that they do really nice lip products. Their line is in Superdrug and this was only £1. It stayes on for quit a while and is very glossy and pritty.

MUA Lipstick in shade 4. This again was from Superdrug and was only £1. I am not a big fan of lipsticks that much but i like this one because it is a really pritty barbie pink colour. Also i am starting to build up my colection and MUA does a nice varity of shades for lipsticks.

MUA Lipstick in shade 1. This again is from Superdrug and was only £1. This colour is a very dark vampy red. I dont think i will be wearing this that often becuse it is a bit dark for me but its nice for like a party or special acation.

MUA Lipstick in shade 14. This again was from Superdrug and was only £1. This is a nued colour and i am abserlotly IN LOVE with it. Im not a lipstick person but i love wearing this colour because it is less bright and sheer. Also if i want to gloss it up i can use the sheer finish lipgloss because it is in the same shade.

Lips pillow from Ikea. This was a christmas present so i don't know how much it was. I love it because it is so funky (and i love funkyness) and it makes my bed look more interesting. (If it had braces though then it would be AWSOME)

Union Jack pillow in a dark purple. This again was from Ikea but again i dont know how much it was .I like purple and i think that this was pritty and me. It is easy to was, and is very soft.

Union Jack pillow in a light blue. This is the same copy as the purple one and because i love it so much i wanted to get it in a different colour. They had a grey one which i would have got but it was at the bottom of the pile . So it took a white to get it out and then when i saw it, i didn't like that particular grey so i didn't ask for that one.

Boots own Kiss Me Quick sweet stripe nail polish. I got the pastal blue colour for christmas and i loved it so much that i had to get the rest of them. They came in a pack of four for £4 so now i have two of the pastal blue colours (one for backup). The colours are ; earthy neud, dark rich blue, light pastal blue and a bright pink. They are so easy to apply, the packeging is so cute and they are very afordible. Although, they are part of the winter colection so they are not the ordinary stock.

17 fast finish nail polish in Purple Jewel. This was from Boots and is £2.99. Their nail polishes are quit good and i love this colour.

Urben Beats headphones in a bright yellow, blended into a orangy red. These were a christmas present but i chose them. They were from TKmacks and were £12.99. I like the colour because i like bright colours and they are over the top. they are ajustable and mufful the sound well.

Its Christmas!!!!!

Yay. Its christmas day. I hope you guys have has an awsome day and have got lots of nice little presants that you wanted. I have been waiting all year for this day to come and now it has finaly come. I love christmas and i am so happy because i got this really nice Cath Kidston bag that i really wanted so that was a nice suprise :D
I will see if i can do some pics of what i got i you are interested, nothing really amazing but i like it. Have a very merry christmas guys. Luv u!!!

Candles :)

What i find really anoying is having mini, pritty candles that you can't light because they do not stand up by themselves. Ths is a little post of how i found a way to stand them up, and still protect the bottom from dropping wax.
Basicly, you get an empty glass jar or cup (something deep (pending on the size of your candle) that will not melt at a flame) fill it up half way with dryed rice and then you slot the candle sticks in untill they stand up by themselves. This is just an easy way to use candles because if you are someone like me then you will love them (although my mum wont let me have them in my room) safty reasons ovcourse :(
I did do an example and take some pictures, but i am really sorry because they are not working and i have tried to do them again but they still arn't working. So i will try and get it working for you and do them in another post.

Finished for the holidays

Yay, my school just broke up for the christmas holidays. I love christmas, don't you. Its the time of year when the whole family can get together, give and share and just have a great time. My school had our mufty day today (which is rare because my school is so stricked that our uniform has to be purfect).
You no what its like, people juging people by what they wear or how much makeup they wear or whatever. To me, eveyone just seems to wear jeans/chinos, trainers/converses and a designer hoddie. I did that last year, but i felt that i blended in too much (which sometimes i dont like), so this year i decided to be different and wear some dungerees and mini wedges.
 However people still give you that scroo face and juge you, but now im just like 'mind your own business, if you have a problem then keep it to yourself'. Obviously i wouldn't say that to anyone because im not really built like that, but it is what i think.
The holidays are always so fun. Some people might go away and some people might stay home. Personaly i love to stay home for christmas because it is just a nice feeling to wake up on christmas day in a fermilier place. Obviously the most important thing is that you are with your family. However some people don't have a family or a home to wake up in. So even if christmas is amazing and fun for you, you should really think about the people less fortunet tht us. Think about what you have and what they don't.

Smoking :(

I'm going to write about smoking today. Now as we all know, smoking is a BAD BAD THING TO DO !!!!!!!!!!!  If you are someone who always gets thier 5 a day in, that is very good. However if you smoke, it means nothing.
When people say that smoking is bad for you, the smokers don't pay atention. This is because it is an old saying so they think it doesn't matter now. Smoking causes over 100,000 deaths in the UK each year and helps cause many otheres. Out of theses deaths, some are from cancer, some are from cardiovascular desieses and some die slowly from emphysema.
Resurch shoes that if you smoke, one ciggeret shortens your life by 11 minuts. That might not sound like much, but if you add it all up then  this will shorten your life from about 7-8 years in a life time (that is much).
The bacics are that it makes yoyr teeth go yellow, it makes your breath stink and it costs a fortune if you are buying them freqently. IT CAN KILL YOU. This saying is not somethig to be taken lightly. You might think 'ohh its hip, its fun, i should do it cuz i want to, i should do it cuz my friends are'. If you have any common sence you wont even go near one.
So in conclution, don't smoke. This will save your life :|

Homework :(

You no homework. It has to be done. Im at a stage were i have so much that i just canno't be asked to do anything. I would say that i am a good student when it comes to homework because it is always handed in ontime and (most) of them are done to the best of my ability. However, i am having one of those days when im just like 'you know, sod it, i'll just have some cake :)' Im like this most of the time but 'hay' i still do it.
There is this hole debate about teachers and students about even having homework. To me, i think that it is a 50/50 thing, because it is good but also bad. For students it is bad because we get enough of the work at school so when we are at home we can't be asked to do anything. However, on the other hand it keeps our minds refreshed on what we have just studdied and keeps the work going.
Overall, i hate homework. But as i have said before, you need to live throgh these things. Good luck ;)

Bits and Bobs (part 2)

Here are a few little cosmetics that i have bought over the last few days. I really rate all of these because i love the name and the product.




Bubblegum lip scrub from Lush £5.25.I love this produt because it is a sugarscrub and i love sugar. It tastes really nice and when you rub it on your lips it takes off all the dead scin cells. This leaves your scin really hydrated. As you can see from the photo i have already used quite a bit of it. They come in this flavour, popcorn, sweet lips and mint julips. I personaly love the bubblegum flavour because it tastes like sweets and it a really vibrent pink colour.



 

 

 

 NYC nail varnish, 228 Chelsea from Superdrug £1.79. I like this product because it is a nice colour and it goes

with alot of my outfits. However it its not the easyest nail varnish to apply and you need to put a second and

sometimes therd cote on it to really get the full afect. I personaly dont think i will be buying this brand of nail varnish again, although i do like the colour.

 





BarryM nail paint, Matt white £2.99 from superdrug. This nail varnish is a nice colour but i wasnt every fond of it because it is very stringy and anoyin to use because it drys very quickly. The reason i bought this wasbecause i wanted a white colour and i was in a hurry so i just picked up a random make. That was a mistake. ALWAYS CHECK!!!!!!

MUA red lipstick shade 13 £1 from Superdrug. This lipstick come out obviously very red and i love it. It is so cheep for a mild quality and a wide range of colours.

Sephora waterproof eye liner in flashy mauve. Im sorry but i dont know how much this is or were it is from because it was a gift. I love it because it is a beautiful colour and lasts a very long time. It is so pigmented and so prity with some slightly sparkely eye shadow mabye or some black liqyed liner.

Rimmel London glam'eyes profrtional liquid liner, Black from superdrug £5.49 (i think). This eye liner is amazing. I have nothing bad to say about this because it has wored purfectly the whole time i have had it. It is very very Pigmented and a very rich black.

Wosh shower jelly from Lush £3.50 the jist of it is that it is a jelly that smells AMAZING!!!!!! and you can play with it aswell. you use it to wash yourself and the smell lingers on you for ages. When it gets wet, it goes so slippery and hard to hold so it is really good to play in a bath or just a fun time.

Nivea refreshingly soft moisturising cream for your face, body and hands from Boots £2.45 The thing i like about this was that it was cheep and can be for all over your body. There are seperate tubes for certen places for your body but this one is cheeper and for everywhere. You can also get this in a big tube for home rather than taking on the go.

Nivea cream pot from superdrug, £1.39. This has the same affect as the cream before this but it is a tub so i keep it at home just to dabb my fingers in when they are feeling particulaly dry. This is also very cheep.

Simlpe soothing facial toner £2.00. I use this after i take off my makeup to sooth my skin and to take off any accses makeup that i have mist. This is very affective when you squese it onto a cotten ball and just rub it on your face. It is full of vitimen goodness and is very kind to skin.









Finaly. It took me ages but i am done. I hope you like what i have shone you and take in all the tips i have left :)

Redecorating

I'm redecorating my room at the moment. I love doing this because i love seeing and living in a space that can easily be changed. I stared to change it because my brother wanted to get a new desk so i got his old one, but its really long and thin and mine was small and chubby. So i am using his as a school/work desk so i have space, and I'm using my one as a dressing table. My walls are a light shade of blue which is my favourite colour and it is a change from a boring white. I love colours as well so allot of thing in my room have a bright colour to it. I have allot of posters on my walls and pictures of friends and family. I love making things as well, so I have allot of homemade things in my room.

School reports ;)

My school year had our paronts evening tonight. As usuell, very bussy, hoping teachers will say good enough things about you and trying not to get your paronts to do something embressing :D
All paront evenings are the same for me mostly, because they say that im doing well in subjects and that im enthuseastic. That i dont particulaly understand because i am a (hyper(if you could call it that)) child, but in most subjects im not always the first person to put my hand up or something like that. Also they usually say that i talk to much. Now this is 100% true, because i love to talk. Its fun! Most people will try and get me to shut up but hey.. i love to talk <3
And then there were the reports. Now this whole thing about year 9 starting their GCSEs now is just crap. I dont see why they should do this or why they would want to. Also its harder tests, less time to do it in and we need to choose subjects (that we have hardly studdied for) when we are 13 years old. NOT GOOD!!!
However, we sadly can't change the rules and we need to live through these things. Lifes full of obsticals, but we get through them in the end :)

Friends :|

Im going to talk abot teenage friends. In my eyes I had a group of say...five to six girls. We all started on our twozs, you no two best friends that can never be split up. Ihad one of them, and apparently when we were in year 7 we were none as the girls that could never get split up (or something like that). Then it went onto to falling out zone and meeting new people. My second new friend (i called her my best friend but in her eyes mabye different) was awsome, we had lodes in comon and also we were a simmiler amount of weirdness. Then we drifted appart. She is still my friend but i don't see alot of her (with us both being really good friends) then i used to. Now I think that my friend chains are just mixed up. I have one groupish and another groupish of friends. I dont know what to do. One of these friends can read this so......yh. This was about teen girl groups (arn't we a pain) also these mixing friend things is hard to keep track of. One day, i had an amazing friend, and the next, shes wispering to other peple right infront of me and hardly talking to me. And this is happerning to me right now :(

Migrains

Having a masive migrain. If you suffer from them then you know what its like, and its hard to explain. Basicly it is a very bad headach that you would not like to get. I suffer from migrains alot proberbly because my mum has them quit frequantly and its an inherited thing (probebly not the best thing i would have liked to inherit, but...) you need to live with these things. All i can say to help is just take some pain killers and zone out on your bed for an hour at the least. The best thing for headachs is to get to the sorce before it spreds to much :)

I like this foundation alot because
it come in a wide variaty of colours,
it is very affctive at covering up my
skin and it still leaves me with a look
that is not obvious at wearing
foundation (if you get that :)). I have
this same Rimmel make but in a powder
because i find that if they are the same
make then they will work very well
together.

Bourjois Paris Rose Exclusif Lipgloss,
superdrug £7.69. I love this lipgloss
because it self-adjusts your lips into
a unique personalised pink with a
lovely gloss on top. I love the pink
colour it brings out aswell.

Cream, Beaded, Coler shaped
nekclass, Primark £4.00. A random
purchas compaired to the others,
but i was in that mood of wanting
to buy a chunky nekclass. i find that
this will go well with a plain black
tee-shirt or a coller top to tuck under.
This nekclass goes well with alot of
my tops and i feel that i will be
wearing it alot in the near future.

Dealing with Dyslexia

As a personal sufferer of dyslexia, I find it hard to do what might come to most of you without knowing it. What is dyslexia you may ask? Basically it Is a learning disorder that affects the way you take in bits of information. The most common one is reading and writing difficulties, so I do apologise if I spell something wrong or miss read something.
If you are a sufferer then don't worry, about 10% of the UK population is dyslexic and it will tend to run in the family. So if your finding something hard or you want to talk to someone about it just go to  a parent, guardian or even a trusted teacher.
The main point here is that your not alone and you never will be. All dyslexia is is a way of telling you that your that little bit more special.
